July 15, 20169 yr Awesome! Seems like early on he was working on things that's why he was getting shelled. Pitched a lot better as of late. Personally, I'd like to move him to AAA first but maybe one of our future sox guys can give some insight on this.
July 15, 20169 yr Author I'm really hoping he succeeds right away at the MLB level. I think having Sale with him as a mentor will be beneficial to his development and maturity as a pitcher.

July 15, 20169 yr Personally I'd like to see him come out of the pen this season and then start next year. Having Fulmer and Burdi eventually gives this pen some much needed help. 2017 rotation has lots of potential: Sale, Quintana, Shields, Rodon, Fulmer

July 15, 20169 yr I think it should say "no spot start for CARSON..." So that means either Turner or Ranaudo's starting.

They arent going to showcase him by bringing him out of the pen, that makes no sense and with the way hes been pitching he absolutely earned a promotion.
July 15, 20169 yr It likely won't be right away, but Fulmer should be a weapon out of the pen this season. Having a second legit guy from the right side for the 7th & 8th innings will be huge.
