He's one of the worst players in baseball this year. His defense is so bad he needs to be a full time DH. Not a good sign when someone who's not even 30 can no longer drive an inside fastball.

Hawk already sounds a bit deflated. I wonder if he's getting sick of being the "road game" announcer. I would think only broadcasting road games where the team has blown chunks under Robin would grow tiresome. I'm no broadcaster but I would think home games have more pizazz for the announcers.

 

p.s. However as a rebuttal to myself, Hawk just mentioned his grandkid's home run today which means he probably is having a blast seeing a few of his games rather than none.
