I had a team that as soon as I drafted I was like "what the hell did I do", but it had rodgers/AP so I figured I could avoid last place which has an obnoxious trophy you need to take.

But with AP out I am pretty sure I'll lose every game.

So I keep hearing how Mckinnon is going to be really good stepping in for AP yet Asiata got most of the carries after AP went down yesterday. What gives?

Also credit to GB defense last night on gameplanning well for stuffing the run but Bradford was getting beat up out there, so maybe AP was struggling because his Oline sucks.

This. Defenses vs. vikings were always "let's let them beat us through the air" with their terrible QBs, but those offensive lines overcame that and still created some holes to run. These two games were just gang tackles of 3-4 guys hitting him right away.

AP hasn't had any holes to run through. If it were 2008, he might have gotten some yards. But he's no longer the same athletically.

Zimmer said the injury isn't as bad as initially thought and that he should be back in a few weeks.

My Gronk and Brady-less team are 2-0 so far! With my bench going off this week, I'm going to have no idea who to play last week. But with Woodhead going down, I feel like Melvin Gordon is a must-start every week. Now I just got to figure out who gets my flex spot over Baldwin.

Melvin Gordon is a borderline RB1 with Woodhead out.

I don't want to rub it in, but everything that happened to you is the reason I won. I had woodhead leave the game and Sanu was a bust yesterday while Dez had a good game so I made my own mistakes too.

I also had Dez and Woodhead...in another league. Where I got a combined 5 points from my running backs (Martin + Woodhead). :'(

Lost AP, backup was Langford. Now Langford looks like he lost his job. Wow...

Besides the monster week 1 game from A.J. Green, my top 4 picks (Green, Gronkowski, Freeman, Rodgers) have been average to well below (to be fair to Gronk, he has been injured). Yet somehow I'm going to be 2-0 with by far the highest point differential in my league.

Crazy.

What do you mean by point differential? Like highest disparity between points for and points against?

Worded it wrong. Meant to say overall. And actually what you said as well, though I don't care about that since that has no merits on playoff seeding.

Have a waiver claim in for Asiata, but my uncle has decided he is going to drop Peterson to pick up Tevin Coleman....so I feel like it would be wise to grab AP and stash him for a few weeks, rights? I mean, I am dropping Hurns to get Asiata, then I could drop someone like either Mike Wallace or Giovani Bernard to grab AP.

Seriously I'm struggling with it too. I have the #1 waiver claim and am still not sure if I wanna use it on McKinnon even though he's so appealing in PPR (but Asiata will take away touches too). My coworker dropped DeVante Parker too last week... I need a RB after this week (DeAngelo Williams will soon be a thing of the past) but I feel I should jump on Parker anyway and drop either Hurns or one of my weaker RBs (Hill, Henry). I have like 3-5 hours to decide.

Wow.. amazingly I wound up getting both Parker and McKinnon. Dropped Hill and Yeldon. Gotta figure out who to start now although I'm probably going to start Parker as my flex and Diggs has emerged as a damn good WR2 so far. Leaving Forte and Williams at RB until I see how Vikings use Mckinnon.

How did everyone else do with claims this week?

Lol I was coming in to post that I picked up Parker and I'm iffy about picking up Asiata. Mckinnon I drafted, dropped after week 1, and now he's probably getting the lions share of the work so nice pickup for you.

Honestly Diggs has really broken out, dude should be treated like a #1. You're in a pretty good spot not needing Mckinnon right off the bat. If you can afford to stash Asiata I'd do it and drop whoever flops next week.

Thanks man. I'd probably have to drop Gordon or Henry since my bench currently is Edelman/Hurns, (whoever I don't start this week) D. Allen, Gordon, Henry, McKinnon and Devonta f***ing Freeman who is now officially replaced by Forte on the don't cut list. I don't know if I wanna drop Henry just yet. His workload has increased each week so far and even though Gordon is suspended for another week, he's going to be a steal I'd bet. I could swing a trade too. I'm pretty loaded at WR now (Green, Parker, Diggs, Edelman, Hurns, Gordon).

So if Dez gets the workload like he did last week he should be fine until Romo is back at WR1.

I need WR2 and Flex advice fellas.

I got Tajae Sharpe at WR2-Stay or play Enunwa(vs KC) or Parker (vs Cle)?

I have Theo Riddick at Flex-Stay or play one of receivers from above?

Yea I'd definitely keep Henry over Asiata if that's the case. Henry spells Murray a bit more and Asiata is a total wild card right now so yea. Also you're pretty damn set at WR,maybe you could swing one of those guys for a #1 RB.

Figures I lost out on Fozzy Whitaker. I'm such a loser this season.

I'm such a loser

No doubt.

I drafted Howard late, realized I couldn't stash player that was 3rd string, dropped him, one week later paid to pick him up. I'm terrible

Pederson officially having surgery. Expected to be out 3-4 months.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 21, 2016 -> 10:08 AM)
No doubt.

:crying

I have Stewart and I barely even bid on Whitaker because Carolina does crazy things and hell probably split carries with Artis-Payne and Tolbert. I paid to get Enunwa and I got Beasley for free. Just felt more confident going after guys who lesser risks.

As someone who is holding Josh Gordon in 2 leagues. I am disappointed to hear that he has a warrant for his arrest for failing to provide a DNA sample because of a woman claiming he's the father of her kid. I know there's no rhyme or reason for the way the NFL penalizes the players and there's obviously no precedent for the treatment of a guy like Gordon but what happens here?

It would seem far fetched that this would result in any further penalty as it is a civil issue. The warrant would be for "contempt of court." It would be no different than failing to pay child support. I cant find any cases where the NFL suspended someone for that, so I would think there would be a similar result. But like you said, NFL does whatever it wants.
