Dude was the epitome of a AAAA pitcher, no big loss here.

There were plenty on here that had that same thought.

Don't know why they released him. Not a big loss, but I would think he's still decent AAA depth. He's better than a lot of guys in the bullpen in AAA

The roster spot apparently was more valuable. They could have sent him through waivers, but apparently they are done with him.

He had TJ surgery June 10th, so 2017 was probably done for the most part with him, and he's getting to the point of being arb eligible and still can't throw a strike, so....he gone.

Forgot about the surgery. I wonder if they couldn't send him down because of that?

He never could throw strikes consistently. No big loss, just minor league filler at best.

Well, as of now the only remnant in our system of the Edwin Jackson/Mark Teahen Trade is Charlotte Pitcher Will Lamb.
