it's certainly a great time of year.

Rodon's gonna really turn some heads this year and full on break out big time in 2018.

On the Chuck Garfien podcast, the Sox bloggers seemed skeptical about the situation. When you listen to Hahn pause when talking about the health of all the players and then saying everyone that threw was fine, it makes you really hope there's nothing more to this.

If there is even a hint of soreness even the usual then there is no reason not to wait. It's not like the other pitchers are throwing simulated games this week probably 75% of their workout is just lower body and fitness work with some long toss and non mound throwing. Carlos throw 166 innings last year, if he has any hope of throwing 200 this year it's going to need all the skills Cooper has, including knowing when to go slow.

No problem with taking it slow with Rodon. He's young, still building up his innings and is the future ace after Q is traded. Smart move by the Sox, imo.

He's scheduled to start today. If he doesn't pitch then we should be worried. This is Tommy John season.

What did it say? I can't access Twitter right now?

Gregor saying rodon is not throwing during PFP. I did see another beat writer say Rodon did throw some today but haven't seen confirmation or video

That's...not good.

You certainly he is ok, but if he is going to get TJ...now is the time.

Imagine if Q is traded and Rodon is hurt.

We could be looking at a Shields/Gonzalez/Holland/Covey/TBA rotation. Holy f***.

So on Garfein's podcast, they played the Hahn press conference. They asked him if there were any injuries on day one and he had a very strange pause and said he hadn't seen the report.

It would suck losing Rodon for any amount of time but holy tank.

Ruh roh! :o

On the bright side, no Rodon means the odds of getting Beer just went up a lot more, but I love Carlos and hope he's fully healthy.

If he is hurt, why would he be out there doing fielding drills? But if he's not hurt, why isn't he throwing?

This thread is pathetic. So much idle speculation.

1. Shields

2. Gonzalez

3. Holland

4. Free agent signing.

5. Covey

SOMEONE has to be decent enough to flip in the 1-4 slots, right? RIGHT!?

If that rotation pitched a full season, I'd bet that would be the worst team in MLB history.
