Yes they care way too much about hitting stats in ST

No they don't. May is a half assed prospect that they were willing to give a shot to in a year like this because why not.

Can we still trade Buxton for Anderson?

Not sure which to be more concerned about, but probably this latest Buxton start to a season after how he finished last year and looked to be finally turning the corner.

Did the White Sox lose their Spanish language station? Or that's home games only?

Davidson was gonna be the opening day DH and then he isn't because Asche had a good spring. I don't think anyone thought May would be opening day starter as well

Way to make contact!

Buxton played that like he's had no outfield instruction at all.

Asche is awful

Infield warning track power.

Asche and Davidson are opposites. Kahnle? Ynoa?

Asche and May have more grounds-outs to the second basemen then anyway else.

They played their way into spots with good springs because there is bad competition, it happens with literally every team. Especially in a year like this, it was going to happen. They're not putting too much stock in spring training at bats, they decided to give some guys who may have some upside but aren't top prospects a chance.

The problem is it isn't going to clikck. He needs more time in AAA. Obviously you would expect him to at least get a hit here and there, but his struggling terribly should surprise no one. Bourjos sucks, but if you think May has potential, he should be playing in Charlotte until he has success there,at the very least.

Oh I agree, but May is such a fringey prospect to begin with that I'm ok letting him sink or swim. I came into the season with the expectation that May would be an epic fail (all you had to do was look at his AAA numbers), but that's still better than what Bourjos would have provided in the grand scheme of things. Don't get me wrong, Bourjos would have been the better player, but wins don't matter right now and he would not have been nearly good enough to have any real trade upside.

The version of Kahnle that throws strikes is interesting

LOL. Hahn has it made with this so called rebuild. We lose and most of the fans are happy. One of the prospects he acquires does s***ty, well everybody will say, "Not all the prospects will pan out. Most will." Nice work if you can get it. This rebuild is SLOW, too slow for my tastes. Just win baby.

LOL. You complain about a slow rebuild three weeks into said rebuild. LOL

Kahnle doing a good Burdi impression there.

SoxTalk Banner Jinx.

Please don't replace with Avi, Robertson, Davidson and the three veteran "aces," though.

Still doesn't seem to really know where ball is going when it leaves his hand but obviously a bit more zoned in and connected on low pitches well.

May has to go. Sorry.

Feeling sorry for May...except that $3000 per day and small chance at a lifetime pension like Carroll earned.

Btw, Grossman was a really savvy pickup by the Twins.

He's part of the plan to secure a high pick.

It's not even fair to him. Jason Bourgeois is a better option at this point.

May has to be the one to go after the game with Melky coming back.

Give credit to the Sox pitching staff so far. Very good besides...

We're really DHing Yolmer SANCHEZ? Yikes.

Anderson really needs to pull out of this funk. Benched today. Sophomore slump, pressure from big contract, whatever's going on...

The little s__t got two, count 'em two, hits.
