Davidson is on a hot streak right now and still fans half the time. Abreu is a far better player.

But you're likely getting a far better defensive alignment out of the same three players

Why not? Give Davidson reps at 3rd when Frazier's Ebola improves

We are rebuilding

We are rebuilding

Well we wouldn't be if only we played Davidson more and hadn't cut Peter effing Bourjos!!!

Exactly so give Davidson a chance

If the Sox acquired a real 1B sure make Abreu the DH, but not Matt Davidson or move Frazier off of 3B would be silly too.

Abreu is not and will never be a good defensive first baseman. His defense is terrible. Let him concentrate on hitting as a DH.

Great now Hawk will spend 5 minutes crying for Joe Crede

This is an embarrassment of an inning for Hawk. Really tired of this crap, it's his like fourth game and he sounds bitter and tired

Yup, it's pathetic. If you don't want to call the game, RETIRE.

that last pitch to Davidson.. wow

But, it's Joe Crede we are talking about

Well, it took me a couple weeks, but think I'll turn this one off. Offense and defense have me frustrated.

I actually like it when Hawk talks about 90s to modern day players because I was alive and knew these players.

I can't stand it when he talks about Yaz or anyone else from his era. I did enjoy his Mickey Mantle stealing second base story, I think it was on MLB Network

I hope you guys enjoyed Cy Holland while he lasted.

They just demolished Holland. Didn't help he couldn't get a pitch on inside corner

That should be Holland's first earned run..

Yep. I bet it ends up getting changed.

Game might be a serious challenge for the Sox to rebound tonight considering it's 7-0 Bronx bombers

No chance on the road

In case there was any question we're a rebuilding team.

Hoping Anderson or Abreu do something positive in final two at bats

More like a serious reminder to continue on with the rebuild efforts

Hahn's a smart guy. This team won't sway him.

No. Our 6-5 start changed everything.
