April 21, 20178 yr Was about to have a heart attack thinking Kopech got roughed up like that. Oops, didn't notice that game was already over with the DH. Apparently it wasn't as bad as the numbers looked, with some defensive miscues contributing. Still some control issues. And for those saying we should have a Top 3-5 system ranking, it's hard to believe we're Top 10 with how ridiculously bad that Birmingham everyday line-up is. Edited April 21, 20178 yr by caulfield12

April 21, 20178 yr What are people thinking of Kopech's start to the season? Lots of Ks, but lots of walks. I guess I'd rather have this than not enough strikeouts. Control is fixable at his age.

Schnurbush isn't having anywhere near the success he experienced last season. 0-4, 4Ks tonight. Brandon Brennan was REALLY bad out of the pen for Birmingham: 1.0IP, 5H, 4ER, 2BB, 1K.. He's repeating AA in his age 25 season after posting an 8+ ERA last year. Ouch. He's going to need to figure things out quickly.

April 21, 20178 yr Danish is one of those fringy prospects I'd like to see up in the majors this year to see if there's actually anything there. So he's got my vote for first guy up.
