Willy Garcia would've been an easy out at 3rd on the other bunt, Kinda went to the well once too often. With the infield in the likelihood of a less then perfect bunt working was less. Let the hitter hit with a man on 3rd and one out.

Nice inning for Kahnle. Those injuries to the bullpen has helped this org look at guys like Kahnle and Swarzak more. Pretty beneficial in the long run.

Anderson not running out that ball last inning looms large as well in the grand scheme of things.

If Abreu could recognize the spin of the baseball he would be a monster. Dude is just never going to lay off the spinny junk. He's still productive but damn man! Don't you wanna win some MVPs??

Guess we'll have a debate about bunting the runner over to 3rd, but that's the "by the book" play...still not sure you don't want Tim Anderson to have a shot (he'll have to do it in the future), compared to Narvaez, Saladino and Leury Garcia.

 

Not a big deal...in the overall scheme of things this season.

Having Anderson bunt was the right call. All the crap after that with the bunt was ridiculous
