I think tonight's game is the Sox best chance for a win and I'm not all that confident in this offense against Moore. Despite shark bait pitching Saturday, he's still opposed by James f***ing Shields, ugh. Sunday is Bumgarner, LMAO. Definitely potential or a sweep if the Sox don't put up some offense this weekend.

We are 1.5 GB of the Phillies.

 

Phillies own the tiebreaker with us, so we have to be WORSE than them to have a better draft pick. Opposite situation with the Giants.

True but it's about more than the pitchers. Shields pitching against that Giant lineup has disaster written all over it. Especially if the fielding miscues continue.

Ultimately, the Sox having a 4-23 stretch got them a top-3 pick, and after that it's all gravy.

With the amount of talent expected in the '18 draft, I'll take a top three no problem. Making the right choice draft night is what really matters.
