I would do it

Lol - no you wouldn't.

Avi is certainly a good reason to tune in to games this year.

Avi bomb!!! And he knew it

Yeah, he is very streaky.

Performance being streaky is one thing, but it *seems* unusual for a player's bat speed to seemingly fluctuate to this degree.

Oh my

Davidson man. Can he get 30 home runs?

Bomb squad

By the ASB?

Maybe.

This is where Anderson needs to steal

Guys, I know the ball is juiced, but we have a decent middle of the order already.

I know I've said this before, but it's amazing to me that I'm more optimistic in the hitters going forward in the rebuild than the pitching

Because of the fact we are not there yet with the 3b prospects being ready I would keep Todd for two years more. I think he and Davidson can alternate between 3b and DH and spell Abreu on occasion. Give todd stability contractwise might help him relax and hit consistently

Perhaps after seeing multiple struggling young hitters coming to form you can also find that pitchers too may actually struggle before improving.

Not worried about our arms at all...this is going to be fun in about 2 years.

Todd in two years is probably replacement level. No way, get rid of him for whatever you can at the deadline.

As for Avi, just when you think he's going to turn back into a pumpkin he comes through with a big 3-4 night or a couple big bombs.

I'm more concerned about the stability of our viewing pleasure, which watching another two years of this kind of production in Stoddard's declining years would not contribute to.

Two different strike zones
