Yeahhhh Kopech is going to come up fireballing and blowing people away. I think we'll be fine with that.

Bittersweet dealing such a quality player and professional like Quintana. Instantly my favorite Cubs player and I wish him the best.

Guerrero.

First name that came to my mind. Ya never know.

Happy trails. Sox fans never appreciated you--I could count on two hands the Quintana shirseys and jerseys I saw at the park over the years, including my own.

Just about everything about him is so unflashy except his numbers when the game is over. Maybe playing for the high profile Cubs will get him his due.

I think Sox fans appreciated him. If he pitches at at Guaranteed Rate in his start against the Sox, you'll hear it.

Farewell Q! I remember watching him in 2012 when the White Sox brought him on. After his first few starts, I knew we had something with this guy. In fact I compared his command (not stuff) to Johan Santana. I called him a future ACE and a lot of posters on this site made fun of me. They said "it's only a few starts, give me a break!" Well... 5 seasons later.... although he didn't become a tue Ace of this staff, he came pretty darn close. Good luck with your pitching future! You will be missed.

Absolutely f'n loved Q and still will. Wish that dude nothing but the best and can't wait to see him come down here and beat up on the Cards.

I really wished Quintana, Sale and Rodon were going to lead the sox to the post season sadly it didn't happen. Q was nothing but a pro, never b****ed or complained or showed his team mates up, while getting ND after ND. I will root for him on the north side.

I will pull for the Cubs every fifth game.

Quintana arrived in Baltimore on Friday morning and was recognized by some Cubs fans at the baggage carousel at the airport, where he posed for photos. A few teased him because his gear was in a White Sox bag.

"I have to get a new one," Quintana said, smiling.

God damn do I love Q.

This must be watched... Jose, the heart will carry on:

Good video. Thanks.

I'm really surprised all pitchers don't copy Q and Buehrle's style of pitching. So simple and fluid. I would think a fluid motion would 'reduce' chance of TJ surgery and other problems.
