July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 08:16 PM) So when does Zavala pass Collins? He already has passed him.
July 21, 20178 yr Tucker doesn't have nearly as much value (like Benintendi) if he ends up in LF or RF. From watching him last year for a few games in the Quad Cities, he's going to have to move out of CF eventually as he grows. He could play it, in the same way Ryan Sweeney did, but he wouldn't be anything close to a plus defender out there, except for his arm strength being pretty darned good. Obviously, Jimenez has the same issue/s, as far as ending up a corner guy or even a DH. To me, he feels a bit more like Nelson Cruz.
July 21, 20178 yr Rutherford with an infield single, Burger with another 2B, Adolfo with an RBI single
July 21, 20178 yr I wonder how Blair is a framer, because Giolito isn't get anything called close tonight. And he just gave up a triple. 4 runs on the night so far, ugly start for Giolito. Edited July 21, 20178 yr by Chicago White Sox
July 21, 20178 yr In some ways I'm more excited about Eloy than Moncada. Moncada is the sort of player, much like Cano, that will (hopefully) put up a "quiet" 6 WAR because he's a solid defensive 2B hitting 285/350/500 but Eloy is a guy that could put up Judge like numbers with the bat.

July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (Sockin @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 01:47 AM) Another clunker for Giolito 1 step forward, 1 step back. He's got to find a way to get his breaking pitches closer to the zone.
July 21, 20178 yr The great Grudz pulls him in the 2nd. Unless he's hurt, I don't see why you don't let him pitch without his best stuff for the experience.
July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 07:54 PM) The great Grudz pulls him in the 2nd. Unless he's hurt, I don't see why you don't let him pitch without his best stuff for the experience. He is terrible. Been saying that all year.
July 21, 20178 yr Evan Skoug with a .909 babip through his first 2 ab's in Kanny...not a bad way to start his pro career.
July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 09:16 PM) Burger is 4-4, a double double and triple What's his ETA? At best middle of 2019? If all goes well he finishes next year in AA, right?
July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jul 20, 2017 -> 08:07 PM) Evan Skoug with a .909 babip through his first 2 ab's in Kanny...not a bad way to start his pro career. That math sounds off

I would say at best it would be start of 2019. I think he probably should be in WS right now, he is too polished of a hitter for KAN Edited July 21, 20178 yr by BigHurt3515
