July 21, 20178 yr https://www.milb.com/milb/news/chicago-whit...636/t-185364810 Great stuff...back into Top Ten, haha?
July 21, 20178 yr Seems like a good dude, easy to root for. The early results have been really encouraging, especially the low K-rate. Also who knew he had some wheels? An infield hit and a triple in the same game! Edited July 21, 20178 yr by Username
July 21, 20178 yr Love this. "We have the best farm system in baseball," Burger said. "It's awesome.very team, you get to play with big-time prospects and big-time players. It's been a fun ride. Blake's a great guy. It was fun hitting behind him. We actually have lockers right next to each other, so I've gotten to know him. It's been fun. I grew up a White Sox fan, so I'm probably more stoked than I probably should be, but it's been awesome."
July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 10:44 AM) Man this kid is really damn easy to root for.See ya in Chicago in 2019 My thoughts exactly.
July 21, 20178 yr He's a fun player and prospect. He doesn't necessarily fit the "mold", but that's what's so fun. He does his own thing and is successful. Look forward to seeing his career progress.
July 21, 20178 yr Did anyone notice that he is choking up, in that photo? Does he do that, even if only when down in the count? Edited July 21, 20178 yr by Lillian

July 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 21, 2017 -> 08:44 AM) Man this kid is really damn easy to root for.See ya in Chicago in 2019 Sox fan, Konerko fan. This kid is going to be a fan favorite if he can sustain success all the way to the Show.
July 22, 20178 yr QUOTE (Username @ Jul 22, 2017 -> 10:55 AM) Anyone figure out why Burger wasn't in the lineup yesterday? I don't know but it's weird they still have Remillard too. Going to be days he sits for Him until they clear that out.
July 24, 20178 yr good and promising start by jake. some people might have thought that his not so pretty swing could lead to some contact issues but the low K rate is very encouraging. of course it is low level pitching and as an advanced college hitter he should do well at the level but I think so far he has exceeded expectations.
