Avi to the rescue!

Avi 2 RBI single. Too bad he might not have the PA's or else iamshack probably wins that portillos sandwich over Joecoolman.

looks like a cutter.

Thanks, I couldn't imagine a 95 mph "curveball," which is how Gameday is describing it. 95 is pretty good, even for a cutter.

He still might get there, if he stays healthy

Good job Avi

Yeah , yeah , yeah ! (Beatles Nite tribute )

is there a reason why Narvaez always catches Carlos? his receiving is garbage.

Not a fan of 40 plus pitches in an inning and 2 thirds

Edited by Scoots

This feels like a 10+ strikeout game for Rodon.

He does seem to be getting squeezed a bit, though I'm just following on Game Day.

Not his fault, it's all on the framing

He has on a few but it's not awful. I think he needs to rely on his pure stuff more than nibbling...like he did on that last wipe out slider.

Agreed, Omar has caught him 70% of the time this year and he is dog s*** at framing.

Mauer reminds me of a left handed hitting Konerko a bit. Similar stance. More of a contact guy, but more so he is quietly the face and leader of his organization. Never had any gripes, plays the game how it is supposed to be played, and is very tough. Numbers just back everything up.

Yup. I feel like people underestimate just how many more pitches someone has to throw due to bad framing.

I really like Buxton.

I might pay money just to watch Engel play D in CF.

10 walks for Delmonico already.

YOLMER!!!!

Dirty Sanchez :)

I love it.

Yolmer going on a hot streak and getting his OPS back above 700 before the end of the year would be nice.

there's really no "inbetween" with Anderson ABs. He either looks like crap up there without a clue...or he's mashing.
