Hahn continues to stockpile arms.

Has he played baseball before or is Hahn just hoping Hectors brother can pitch?

Let's go back to 2013, lol...he's had a ton of injuries since that time.

He also walked an astronomical 7.6 batters per 9, which was the main reason for his 1.40 WHIP, but it was a dominating season nonetheless. Following his 2011 season, Rondon found himself skyrocketed up prospect rankings lists, as scouts finally caught a glimpse of an overpowering fastball and projectable secondaries. As we're all undoubtedly aware, Rondon spent 2012 across 3 levels (A+, AA, and AAA). Over those 3 levels, he accrued 53 innings with a 1.53 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 11.2 K/9, and 4.4 BB/9. He will be given every opportunity to win the closers' job for the Tigers in spring training, and certainly looks to be the Tigers closer of the future.

Does he have an invite to major league camp? I'd assume so but I haven't seen anyone say conclusively

This guy has talent if the Sox can fix his attitude issues. Good signing. Zero risk, high reward.

YOU GET A CLOSER AND YOU GET A CLOSER AND YOU GET A CLOSER!

Very nice pickup. Amazing the number of flamethrowers this team has assembled.

I mean, if you get enough guys who can throw 98-100, one or two of them have to end up decent, right?

Nope, if the 2007 White Sox taught us anything.

The 2007 White Sox also taught us that one good April of flamethrowers, does not a reincarnation of the Nasty Boys make. They had some arms that year, they had a decent April and then couldn't find the plate the rest of the year and got torched.

Sisco and Aarsdma in particular...I remember they must have auditioned about 10-12 lefties too, the only one who turned out to be any good we traded to the Red Sox, Javier Lopez.

I will feel bad for whoever is the Pre/Postgame host because callers won't know the difference between Bruce Rondon and Carlos Rodon, should Bruce make the team.

I'm glad the Hawks never had the Dano/Danault problem (they were both traded) because Foley would have had his brains scrambled daily.

Boone Logan has carved out a nice career for himself, and Thornton was good. Everyone else...woof.

I had forgotten that Ryan Bukvitch somehow got a job with the Orioles the next year and pitched actual MLB innings by some miracle of low expectations.

Imagine if Jose Rondon makes the team.

I think Hahn wants to make deadline moves.

Don't forget Cleuluis Rondon, the fielding wizard who can't hit a lick (from BOS)

He's no longer in the organization. Minor-league free agent.

This guy has pitched fewer innings than Nate Jones in the past 4 seasons. I see lots of optimism about this, but I don't expect much. I hope I'm wrong.

It is a lot of enthusiasm for a negative WAR player. The ultimate "flyer" player.
