May 25, 20187 yr http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23598602/mlb-real-not-al-central-worst-division-1994 AL Central the worst individual division in baseball since 1994....yikes (that's when the White Sox should have won the World Series, if the season had actually been allowed to play out)

May 30, 20187 yr I love how the Sox the past several years of suck always cure the ills of teams that hope to contend in the Central. Earlier this year Minnie woke up after playing the horrid Sox. Now Cleveland figures to turn its season around by beating us up.

The Twins are a staggering 9-11 since they woke up after playing the White Sox. But don't let a nerdy statnik ruin a good greg narrative.
June 7, 20187 yr The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have acquired right-handed pitcher Elvis Luciano and left-handed pitcher Gabe Speier from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for outfielder Jon Jay. Luciano will be assigned to the Burlington Royals (Rookie), while Speier will be assigned to Northwest Arkansas (AA).

Didn't they keep winning though and only now have been losing. They continued winning after they beat our butts.

Although I think I read Elvis was only 18 so forget that for 5 years. The other guy is a non prospect right? They made the early trade; now it's up to the Sox to trade Shields and Soria while they are hot. I can guarantee you Soria will get bad again soon enough (unless Cooper has fixed him for good) and Shields also is gonna hit a wall before too long IMO.

June 20, 20187 yr Royals fans are in nirvana today, lol. They acquired three guys nobody's ever heard of (the future unknowns) for their closer. They now are embracing the suck as Sox fans have done. They are comparing it to when they got Cain and Escobar. Ah, how great a job it is to be a GM nowadays. Losing is beloved!

Herrera is a free agent after this year and Royals are currently 22-52 and worse than the Sox. Of course you trade him. Edited June 22, 20187 yr by soxfan2014

You new wave baseball fans can read this Nightengale story about how baseball is in deep s--t cause of all the new wave attitudes about bases on balls and strikeouts and other things. Baseball is unhealthy right now partly because so many teams are tanking. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2018/06/20/mlb-bad-baseball-attendance-strikeouts/718162002/
