Looks like the baltimore series will happen, bad for us. Could be in the 6th or 7th spot by Monday.

I think you mean 5th or 6th.

16 games left. I’ll take 7-9 unless that includes sweeping the Twins the last four. 6-10 would be nice though.

While losing right now may be understood, I would also add that the fans have every right to be pissed about it. The losing in 2018 is a direct result of choices the White Sox were making in 2013, 201

Conforto and Frazier homer in the 9th to beat Marlins 4-3 in game 1.

Tank commander.

With the win Friday night, the White Sox were officially eliminated from the race for the first pick.

3rd ain't happening. Marlins are getting that.

6-9 (64-98), we got a shot at 4th.

7-8, 5th or 6th

8 or 9 wins, definitely 6th

10-5...don't do that.

Well.. im thinking 4th but i know we are going to fuck this up because thats what this organization does with everything

Hopefully the Indians have a post-celebration hangover today and before a Monday off day...and the Tigers win.

Tigers final two weeks-

3 vs Min, 4 vs KC, 3 at Min, 3 at Mil

Including today, 7-7 would be nice. The Sox just have to match them to have a higher pick. 5th would be fine.

Wrong. The Tigers picked first last year. Therefore they have the tiebreaker. Sox have to be 1 game worse.

I know. They have to match the Tigers the remaining 14; not overall record.

Ritchey and Shields is a righteous comparison.
I'm just looking for 4 more wins.

This is for the 3d pick?

The Marlins have a rain out rescheduled for Monday October 1 with Pittsburgh. Will they play that game solely for draft implications?  If not the Sox will lose the tiebreaker edge with Miami.

They’ll cancel it when the Pirates are eliminated.

Too bad. That could cost us a draft spot.

Yeah. I don’t know for a fact they’ll cancel it, but it wouldn’t make much sense to make it up. Just have to assume they have one more loss than they do now.

About to play 3 against CLE and 3 against Cubs...0-6? I mean they barely beat Baltimore 2 out of 3

This is why I track by wins. For example if the White Sox and Marlins both finish with 63 wins, the White Sox get the higher pick whether the Marlins have 98 or 99 losses.

I hope so. Just doesn’t sound right percentage wise.

A 63-98 team has a higher winning percentage than a 63-99 team.

Orioles .287

Royals .347

Marlins .393

White Sox .396

Padres .397

Tigers .407

Hey Padres,

Win a game tonight.
