The frustrating part to me is I just don’t see how anyone could see him being able to hit enough to be an everyday regular.  He’s a far better defensive player than he’s shown (ignoring the noodle arm), but the bat is always going to be a compete joke.

By my count that's the 5th time this year Yoan has struck out looking on a pitch that was actually ball 4

To be fair, I do remember one walk he had that should've been a strikeout. Obviously that still doesn't balance out though.

Cano has not looked good against Fulmer.

Moncada got screwed on that call.

Narvaez really needs to learn how to frame pitches. Castillo has given sox pitchers quite a few strikeouts this year already.

I'd probably take Skole's bat over Palka, but it's irrelevant in the overall scheme of things.

The question is what kind of numbers would you get combining Davidson and Delmonico at DH?  That would seem to be the most viable option, all things considered.

 

That was a much needed outing for Carson.  He has 93 pitches thru 6. Could he have another inning in him?

Gotta love this start for Carson. If you check the box score it won't jump out at you but he really didn't have any issue with his command all night. He needs to work on his offspeed mix but this was a big step forward.

Can the pen hold the lead?
