Thank you Renteria for not sending Soria out there for the 9th. 

 

Nice recovery by Giolito after a tough first inning. Thought for sure it was going be another one of those games.

Clinched double digit wins for the season, was getting a little worried there.

Matty D has games like these that make me think he can hold the DH spot very nicely until someone forces the issue. His patience at the plate is really paying off.

NL up 32-18 this season

Makes it easier to clinch the Cup in September.

We clinched the all time series lead for another year.

I like this new British guy, we should keep him around

He's a Paul Konerko clone, folks. I'll take that. THANK YOU RICKY for not using Soria. No question we'd have lost the game had he entered to walk the leadoff hitter, then give up a double, then a homer.
