so even when Covey was getting pounded last year there, i seem to recall some reports from the scouting community that really believed in him and bought into his stuff. Maybe they were right

Yeh, he should probably give up hitting left handed.

Engel has busted his behind to Improve at the plate. Regardless of what someone might think about him on the big league roster you have to admire his effort

I never noticed plus stuff last year, so I’m pretty shocked by what I’m seeing with him this season. Kid looks real good.

Gonzalez went to the Narvaez school of framing low pitches like someone who's never caught a game

Covey in a bit of a jam here, let’s see if he can get out of this.

Fucking A Yolmer.

Thanks Yolmer

Another bad defensive play by Yolmer. Surprised at some of his decisions at 3rd this year

Covey would have been out of the inning if not for that error.  At least Covey is doing his job.

Yolmer struggles on plays where a runner is going home

Oh my god this guy is so bad at framing. He's turning strikes into balls.

Covey has some serious balls.  So many Sox pitchers would have crumbled after that Yolmer error and Covey just mans the fuck up.

That's too bad for Dylan. At least he kept it to a minimum

Think it's inexperience and he's rushing?

A case of less haste more speed

Ironic because that's the one thing he was supposedly good at

Engel keeps lunging at high fastballs as if he's swinging at a low pitch

Waist high & above Engel has no chance

Where'd Engel go ?

He has been the whole year. I don't understand why they don't just throw high fastballs the whole time on him

I missed BB Moncada. :)

So you're saying Yoan and Covey have good games and Sox lose to Brewers?  DEAL

Brewers' pitchers don't hang about do they

As a RHH, Moncada is now up from .167/.241/.229 to .184/.268/.286. Baby steps.
