That pitcher is lacking confidence badly. Walked off field with horrible body language

You want some W's? Here are some to describe this post. Worthless.  Waste of my time. Wrong. Wilfully ignorant.  Without merit. Whack. Wacko. Wreaking havoc on

  • I agree with the consensus it’s mental. No way that guy could pass a sobriety test. Tell him to walk a straight line and he’ll end up with one foot on its tip toes and the other behind his ears.

Just not sure how he can make it work with a 90 mph fastball, and that's on a hot gun.

Here we go.

How come it is ok to say this about Giolito but not in general?

Sure looked like Yolmer should have got him at 2nd

Lucky there an out but hit like a rocket

It cancels out that weak infield hit to Yolmer.

He's throwing strikes but right down the plate with fastball

What the hell was Trayce doing out there? Shocked the Twinkie didn't tag up at 2nd

This team is such a damn adventure in the field. The problem is that adventures are supposed to be fun.

Speaking of the devil...goodness.

LOL, even a routine grounder is an adventure. Gio still doesn't miss many bats, but they also really didn't get much great wood on him, other than the Garver shot.

I want to see Gio get his curve ball over. That change up he threw was way too damn high as well. Need more than 1 effective pitch. And hell, even that fastball isn't overpowering, though it certainly does have good movement.

Good to see Davidson back. Hopefully the back issues don’t linger.

I think he was referring to Minnesota’s starter

Sox need to pile on the runs. Another comeback Twins win would be just disgusting and heartbreaking . Sucks losing that way.

I'm not giving up on Giolito quite yet, Just went to gameday and most of his fastballs are 92-93. What is weird is that it seems that when he first gets on the mound for an inning he's down at 90-91. His two fastest were 94.1 and 93.9 today, which is encouraging. It seems like he's getting comfortable with his delivery and the velocity is starting to return.

Absolutely not, no one should give up on Gio. We're only 2+ months into the season.

I think his fastball is close to being workable, but the off speed stuff is simply non existent right now, in that if he does get it into the strike zone (rarely) it's usually in a terrible location.

That is what is so frustrating about him, is that his offspeed stuff is so wicked but he can't get any of it over the plate.

Oh no doubt, the curve ball he has is legit, but damn if he knows where it's going. At least right now. I don't believe he has forgotten how to pitch.

It means that he’s up for the weekend series. Question who goes down?

It will be a pensman, with Santiago going back to the pen.
