I don't care if someone likes loves laughs or is confused by my posts. Is there someway to turn it off?

I'm only interested in replies. It's annoying to get notifications and then see it's just somebody being "confused" by post. I looked in the notification settings for a way to turn it off but can't find it.

This was NOT a good way to avoid getting those notifications.

Maybe this was just a genius ploy by the OP to get more reputations points or to get that "winner of the day" trophy in his profile. OP just reverse psychologied soxtalk

You can always bribe your board friends to provide you likes, lol...I’m too far behind in the race to care at this point.

I don't want likes just an end to the notifications. I'm being sincere.

If you click the bell at the top of the page (notifications section) and than go into the notification settings and scroll down, you can customize what you want to receive notifications for (and can switch it so it is only based on new posts, no notifications, etc.).

it shouldn't really be viewed as a "race", IMO, stuff like that just degrades the quality of the board as people would start posting for likes rather than sharing actual opinions in a mature/concise way

Thank you so much exactly what I was looking for. Finally I will only be notified only on replies.

Yeah...I would rather have it so it didn't have plusses or whatever

....kind of distracting. Idk.

I just wanted all of you to know. That I really, REALLY like all of you guys and gals.

I'm tired of all of the grouches of the board giving me a confused emoji every time I post something positive about Moncada or Giolito. I get it,  you think they suck and will never amount to anything.

Screw confused trolls.  Likes or nothing.

It's all equally annoying. F likes I'd settle for my reputation to be 0 if I didn't have to deal with these stupid notifications.

With as often as a handful of posters use the confused emoji I'm thinking they've never watched baseball before. Or they are just that confused by life itself.

Again, for those who didn't see the other thread, the confused emoji has been disabled.  It didn't serve to further conversation with the way it was being used by a few specific postedrs.
