Yeah.  Guys never get better after 25 right?

  • Gonna be a long game if Q gets 3 inches off the corner

I think he's going to explode next season, and become the guy we all thought we were getting when we traded Sale for him. I wish that there was at more than just Lopez we could pencil into our future

Palka just doesn’t look good against a lefty pitcher

Sometimes even in a down year you have a fun game

Let's make it a fun series......than if the Brewers do what they need to do, the Cubs can be in second place by the end of the weekend!

Lopez is gonna be right up there with Rodon next year.

He now has a better ERA than Quintana.  And his ERA coming in to today was 2.85 since the beginning of August.  Dude is on quite a roll.  His K numbers have to be pleasing to our FIP and xFIP friends as well.

Given the lopsided score, this would seem to be an ideal game to put Davidson on the pitcher's mound to see what he can do.

I'm breaking my fast: good job boys.  Fan game all around.

There really isn't much else to focus on from a position player standpoint other than Palka. Anderson is what he is.

Sox motto should be let the kids play.

Typical Sox bullpen that they can’t even perform with s 10-1 lead

This would be awesome.

Part what? Cause they used that already

Cordell finally went for a base hit instead of a home run.  Perhaps there is some hope for him after all.

Lol you know what your right lol

Didn't expect this. At least the Cubs won't clinch shit on the Sox home field. But that Sox bullpen made it interesting yet again. What garbage.

Did you know that Tim Raines came up with good guys wear black.

Polka does have more HR and RBI than Schwarbs and is a better OF. For a muscle bound guy he gets around ok. I expect him to reach 30 HR. Now who would have predicted that in April. Just so nice to watch a guy step up this year and achieve something on offense.

They have 10+ relievers out there. No reason to use Davidson now.
