His strikeout rate is embarrassing this season. Maybe it's about time our pitching coach stresses strikeouts in this new era of baseball.

Apparently the hitting coaches have

Not as long as Hahn is the GM and Renteria is the Manager.

No, not enough coming up by then and especially with Kopech in recovery mode in 2020. But this team better darn well be great in 2021.

Or 2022 or 2023!!!  We keep moving it back.  A couple of years ago, we were supposed to be "great" in 2019.

That Buehrle/AJ perfect game story was incredible, best story I've ever heard of that game.

Best part of the broadcast is with AJ.

AJ would be a great announcer or manager

A.J is a smart dude. Should be a coach

Who else noticed that?

I did, thought I was hearing things but not as bad as how Harry Caray butchered things as he was really bad in his later years.

To be a great team, you have to have some great players. You have seen some of the young talent in Rodon,Anderson, Moncada, Fulmer, Gio and Lopez. How many are great after 1-3 years. So even 2021 is a stretch to expect the next wave to be great.  Unless Hahn intends to sign 2-3  top free agents and trade some of the young talent to acquire established stars.

Eloy, Kopech, Robert should be arriving in 2021, and we should have at least 1 big FA signing somewhere before then, and it's entirely reasonable to think that there should be 1-2 breakout guys from the list of players already up.

If those guys systematically bust, then we can write Rick Hahn's epitaph as worst GM in baseball history in 2021.

He said the same thing on his day three weeks ago. Guess nobody corrected him. Oh well, it’s over now.

My childhood... enjoy retirement Hawk. I'll miss ya big guy.

Thanks, Hawk.

Good to great Hawk (1990’s) was my 20s. It’s been sad the last 7-8 years. I hope that’s not what he’s remembered for. I wish him well, and good bye.

And here comes the tears over here.

"When you take a man's money you take a man's money, but when you take a man's time you take a part of his life. I want to thank Sox fans for their time."

Thank you Hawk

Ill miss hawk. And I'm basicly crying right now. Yes I'll admit it. I turned 43 last Thursday and hawk has been a part of my life since I was 14 in1990. Its like an end of an era. Closing up a book. I know at the end hawk had some slips. But whitesox baseball won't be the same. Actually to me hawk is white Sox baseball. Thank you hawk!

Very sad to see Hawk go. He's a White Sox legend! Wish him all the best and hope he comes back to do Sox/cubs games in the future.
