Hawk being a fan of the team is what I miss the most. For Stoney and Benetti, it's a paycheck. Hawk was relatable because he suffered through the same shit we did as fans and you could hear it in his

The Sox sucked for most of Hawk's broadcasting tenure. The difference is that Hawk got really cranky about 10 years ago, especially with regard to the umps. Other times, he'd just sulk and not say any

All on Eloy to make the adjustment. I trust he will.

Yep he’s opening up too quickly...has been since spring training started. He just needs to keep trying to hit it to right field. He got off to a slow start last year also.

well nova looks pretty damn good

The Indians currently have a pretty pathetic line up.

Yup. Gonna be a bit of growing pains mentally for him. Glad it's happening now though.

This is why I mentioned his slow start, seems to be a trend. He'll figure it out sooner rather than later.

Agreed. If they have nothing left to prove in the minors, it's best to let your young talent take its lumps in the bigs for a couple of years. I remember watching Mike Hargrove and John Hart run a bunch of talented-but-green Indians players out there in the early '90s. And, man, they struggled. Until they didn't.

Anyone ever think that Eloy hasn't played in this cold of weather before and is having to get used to it for the first time ?

At least if baseball doesn’t work out, I can only assume Zack Collins can fall back on a nice computer programming career.

Just give me a productive out Yolmer.

Is it me or does Castillo have a nice swing

Hopefully it's not pharmaceutically enhanced this year.

Rondon is just overmatched by Clevinger.

Nice AB Rondon.....?

Rondon looking like he has no chance at the plate against Clevinger.

Indians pitching is great, but they destroyed Sox hitting last year. Be nice to see improvements against their main guys.

Nasty changeup.
