Even when he was with the Cubs and they were praising him about lots of things, the one thing that was questioned was his bullpen usuage. If you are going to have 12 or 13 pitchers and currently have 4 starters, keeping him in as long as he did when he clearly was struggling was puzzling at best.

Cooper is a relic. I hope to god he's not entrenched, as it will be hard to get a decent manager to come here if he has to keep Cooper. The game has passed him by, he has ceased to be a good pitching coach ca. 2014-15

Cooper taught Lopez a slider.  He still may not be that good, but that is not nothing.

Yo looks really smooth at 3b so far.
