If it’s balky, he’s not going to last much longer.  That surgery was supposed to alleviate everything.

It appears 4 seamers that hit 96 in the zone, mixed in with offspeed stuff is a more effective way of getting hitters out than 90-92 fastballs out of the zone.

Rodon was the right pick at 3 in 2014, but every time i see him i think about Nola. 

If the Sox had the Rays FO there's no doubt in my mind they would be dominating the ALC currently.

You'd be insane not to sit on his 88 mph fastball. He has to go all slider until they have to swing at it.

Rodon is seriously looking like a bullpen arm at this point. What he has will work in the bullpen, but what he has most definitely will not work as a starter.
