There are players on this TB team that can draw walks: Diaz, Pham, Heredia, Choi. Pitchers cant play around outside the zone with these guys because they know how to take close pitches. Attack IN the zone.

What's he going to attack with his shitty fastball?

It certainly doesn't look good at this point.  It amazes me how many people think that just because you say you are doing a "rebuild" that that automatically will make you a World Series contender in

I don't want a top three pick if it means Rodon, Lopez, Gio and other young guys suck. I'd rather have pick 14 and they look good.

If all of the pitchers bust, they aren't winning period. I think we have to come to grips with the fact this might have already failed. Moncada and Eloy can be everything we had hoped and more but this might still be caput already because all of the pitchers suck.

If they couldn't get this rebuild right there's no way I'm hoping they restart another rebuild with the same clowns in charge.

True, but it's clear they have not invested in the right coaching staff to deal with so much young pitching at once.

And to be fair, even atlanta has struggled with that to a point. They've needed vets. Sox since they lost a true no nonsense pitcher with quintana have been drowning.

Rodon about to reach 60+ pitches in 2 innings.

THIS.

Every fking at bat goes 2-2 and 3-2. Like do the job you are paid millions of dollars to do and throw the ball over the plate!!!

Hey a double steal!

Hey Ricky you finally know what those look like now?!?!

2 double steals in two days.  This looks like when our DIII played a Juco down in florida and it was 12-0 after three innings.

We have the equivalent of an old school NBA coach who tries to pound the ball inside instead of shooting threes as our pitching coach

Body language on the team looks like horrendous.  It's team meeting time already.

This. Cooper was a hell of a coach, and the cooper/schneider combo worked great for years.

It's over. And they should have tripled the coaching staff in prep for all of the young pitchers in 2016. But he has too big of an ego.

This team is stupid defensively. Probably could have turned 2.

Pull him, nothing good for him to accomplish today

Lol jesus christ. thats a DP YoYo

Wew lad, ive lost faith in Cooper. If our pitchers continue to struggle like this id say he needs to be gone.

Nice work by Moncada to get the lead runner.

A double play ball and Moncada throws home.... oof.

Why

Already had one in Cleveland

What's the point of Ricky Renteria.  He gets out managed on a daily basis and his teams lack basic baseball fundamentals.  I'm not sure why the hell he's here.

I see Rodon decided to perform in front of this capacity crowd. This is the most "White Sox" start to a game I have witnessed in a long time.

Rodon is seriously looking like a bullpen arm at this point. What he has will work in the bullpen, but what he has most definitely will not work as a starter.

This is hyperbole. Rodon is fine as a #4 or #5 starter. The problem lies in thinking that he is or will ever be a top of the rotation arm.

What do you mean by this?

A bad manager and a pitching coach whose had the game pass him by... yea it's not looking like roses.

So, to be a dead freaking horse, pretty much every one of the outs came via at bats that were 100% slider.

He obviously didn't have it, he should prioritize getting out of this inning and stop starting every ab with FB FB and going down 2-0.
