Exactly. The fact that so many people have criticized Timmy is amazing to me. Not a lot of baseball smarts here.

Tim was just a step or two past first base. Why wouldn't he go halfway at least to second? It was asking for trouble.

  • Just going to throw this out there....could you imagine Timmy's bat flip if he hits a walkoff?

Hell of a play by Timmy to score from 1st on that single.

Because it is 0-2 and pitchers usually waste at least one pitch. You're baseball stupid if you don't understand that. Just b****ing for the sake of b****ing

Nice play at 2nd.

I was actually thinking that.  There's been a few times they looked like they knew an offspeed pitch was coming with 2 strikes.

They hit like shit everywhere else, roll into Comiskey 2, and suddenly its batting practice.

Tigers are making a lot of Sox-like mistakes like that bunt. We need to win this game. It's very winnable and I feel like losing it would be worse than a normal loss.

We need a walkoff tonight.

Because he was tagging up. If the LF catches that with his back against the wall, Anderson tags and is at second base. If it’s a home run, he scores anyway. It was a smart play.

Because it was high enough that Tim figured it was either gone or caught and if it was caught he was tagging and if it was gone he didnt need to be anywhere.

If a runner is passed on the bases, barring someone sprinting backwards, it is almost always the fault of the trail runner.

I believe the tigers, who are dead last in home runs hit, have hit more than half of their homeruns against the Sox.

Bullpen can’t hold a lead

Herrera looks hitable tonight!

Beat you to it by a couple seconds. ?

Thanks guys. I forgot braincramp that Timmy would tag up. Yeah, you are right. Jose shoulda known that. My bad.

He doesn't have overpowering stuff anymore.  His command is typically superb.  With that said, by all means...if some team values him now, ship him off.

Same with Colome please.

They're going to find some way to lose this game, aren't they?

I know it's hard to believe but these games could actually be less watchable

I can see the Tigers scoring in the top of the ninth and Shane Greene shutting us down in the bottom of the ninth!

if you're not going to win a lot of games, it's a total waste to have a competent closer

We should just save everyone the time and intentionally walk the leadoff hitter every other inning.

Been a heckuva a game but when you’re in a fight you don’t walk the lead off batter

Fantastic play by Timmy

Wow Timmy.

It's almost like having the ability to put hitters away with 2 strikes is important

Tim may have saved the game there.

That was a great play
