  • I agree with you that it is way too early to pass judgment on Eloy for the obvious reasons. However, I think some Sox fans are not realistic when they think a prospect will come up to the major league

  • Post of the week....   Can we remember not long ago people calling for giolito to be dfa?

Peacock must've not liked Yolmer and Timmy fucking with their mascot apparently.

Yup. That out was 105 MPH. Good shift

Man Tilson almost got robbed.

Great AB by Tilson. Double steal time ?

Tilson really got down there and also did a nice job of working the count.

Double steal? Ricky?!?!

Peacock throwing mostly 4 seamers with Timmy on base with Tilson up and same with Yolmer.

Yolmer is such a garbage hitter

Does Yolmer have a single clutch hit all season?

Still love Ricky not double stealing with 2 of your fastest runners on the team. It seems Tim is the only one who steals willingly.

Tilson and Sanchez both worked the count enough to probably get Peacock out after 6.  Getting a run or two would make me feel very back in it.

I wish Yolmer wasn't useless.

Didn't get a hit or anything but getting Peacock in the 80's with his pitch count is good.

They just can’t do anything with his 93 mph fastball

Elite spin rate. ;)

In other news, that Pujols moonshot from the 2005 NLCS is still in orbit.

If any of you guys are too young to remember that, go look at Andy Pettitte's reaction on YouTube.

Easier said than down when you have to defend agaisnt a frisbee too

I know Garcia was out as soon as bennetti and stone started talking about how peacock had lost it.

I should have turned the channel.

Osich with the best showing of the night with our relievers.

Osich with a 6 pitch inning.  Very impressive!

And that’s why the approach sucks. You hit the pitch you actually can square up instead of looking for the lights out pitch. They had the same awful approach last year vs the Astros.

Can't win if you don't score any runs.  The pitchers have done a serviceable job so far.  The hitters...not so much.

What did they say about Eaton yesterday?

They put up a graphic about Sox all time leadoff HR leaders. Eaton is #2, way behind Durham. Anyway, Stone made a comment about how Eaton "grinded" his way toward the 2 spot. Benetti then said "yes, he can really grind." Stone said something again about grinding after. Everytime "grind" was mentioned it was extremely sarcastic
