  • I agree with you that it is way too early to pass judgment on Eloy for the obvious reasons. However, I think some Sox fans are not realistic when they think a prospect will come up to the major league

  • Post of the week....   Can we remember not long ago people calling for giolito to be dfa?

McCann has cooled off big time recently

Hard to blame him when he barely plays. Tough to get in a rhythm. He still is great defensively at least.

They put up a graphic about Sox all time leadoff HR leaders. Eaton is #2, way behind Durham. Anyway, Stone made a comment about how Eaton "grinded" his way toward the 2 spot. Benetti then said "yes, he can really grind." Stone said something again about grinding after. Everytime "grind" was mentioned it was extremely sarcastic

Both guys would be kissing his ass if he was on the Sox.  Pretty lame if you ask me.

How did I guess Benetti would be amazed by Stones rat  Astrodome story lol

From my understanding, Eaton was one of the ring leaders for the keep Drake Laroche around movement. It's also my understanding that he was kind of a prick. Todd Frazier, an extremely likeable guy by all accounts, having a big issue with him seemingly is another feather in the "Eaton is an ass" hat

jason call the game dude.

Tell me, is Eaton an asshat?

(Obviously a rhetorical question)

Where has Osich been keeping this stuff.  He looks really good tonight.  By the way...bullpen had a collective quality start.

Ricky did a nice job of sitting McCann when he was hot.. now he has lost rhythm.

Ricky may be the worst manager I've ever seen.

But I haven't paid attention to many I guess...

Methinks this one is ovah

Eloy another good at bat, just needs to elevate the ball

Where do we get one of those Carlos Correa guys

Tilson is a pesky hitter.

That was a nice piece of hitting by yolmer

Leury not good with men on base today.

And then Leury swings out of his ass

The Astros are the most well put together team since the late 90s Yankees. Yay or nay?

i say yay

Minaya must only pitch when I’m not watching because I totally missed him being back up.

Benetti praising McCann's work ethic off the field. Can see why pitchers love when he's back behind the plate now.

Oddly enough Alonso is hitting lefties pretty well. Maybe the same approach against righties would help him. Just go up there looking to go the other way and make contact.

Abreu is having great defensive game

Eloy almost hurt himself again, good god.

I would've scored that an error, but I can't necessarily blame Eloy on that either with the Astros shitty ballpark design.

Saw that one coming before the game started
