What a fresh take. I am interested in hearing more of your thoughts. What do you think of the Tatis/Shields trade? Was it a good deal for the Sox?

Blame Rick, not Verlander.  Hahn is the one who made this start easy for Justin.

Castillo just sucks Ped boy needs DFA

LOL at Castillo

He went

People on here yesterday thought the people saying 2 wins on this road trip were being to "negative".  LOL. This is the have's vs. the have not's!

Castillo’s effort on that 0-1 pitch to frame it was comical

They meant 2 runs

I hate Wellington Castillo

Getting a hit today is as good as a win in my book.

Bummer

I would have guessed 2 wins, but with the way it was worded ("expected" wins), I would say 0.

This will turn into a 9-0 loss. Ugly!

Hey, tomorrow is a new day (just with Castillo and Alonso back in the lineup)!

Not that it matters, but idiotic to pitch to Correa there

Our record with Castillo catching is hilarious

Idiotic pretty much defines just about every on-field decision that has been made for a while now.

Bummer nibbling....

Verlander will be 38 minutes between pitches

He’s valuable.  We need to keep him around.

The tank is back on, ladies and gentleman.  Cut the Machado family and friends loose (and that includes Castillo) and play Collins and Palka.  Let’s get another top 5 pick.  Although those moves would probably be improvements.

This is embarrassing, we are getting no hit through 6. They don't even have Springer or Altuve.

This was talked about earlier today, but at this point, there is no reason to not start to break it up and see what else is out there.

I'm not sure why Mendick is not given a chance at this point. What is the point of keeping him down in AAA any longer? If he can't cut it, there is nothing hurt by playing him for the rest of the season. If he can, he is still 25 years old, maybe a late bloomer.

Palka and Collins both should be here as opposed to Castillo and Alonso.

It drives me nuts that the only people held accountable, in the entire organization (on-field and front office) are the young relief pitchers (and Ervin Santana).

Castillo is still terrible

Oh, are they their best pitchers?

Houston deserves those 2 popouts for that horse shit catchers interference.

Agreed.  But I have a feeling the Sox record after this road trip will be all the front office needs to see to pull the trigger on this season.
