I‘m glad Brantley is out of the division. That dude can just flat out hit.

Like most good pitchers he is working fast.  Not doing the walk all over the mound and think yourself into a funk.  Like it.

Haha, that camera angle made it look like it was the 2005 Pujols NLCS HR instead of a flyout.

I wish we had signed Brantley.

Shit. I thought that was gone by a mile.

I think McCann has a lot to do with it. A catcher who calls a great game and has the confidence of the staff is invaluable. It was an incredibly underrated part of AJP's game.

Truth.

I’m going to fall asleep looking at gios bbref page tonight

That ball must have left our solar system by now.

Seriously. JB had just talked about how the Stros had hit a HR in 19 straight games, my immediate reaction was "welp, 20 straight"

Tim has been getting a lot of cheap hits lately

Nah, still in orbit.

I've never seen a baseball hit quite like that one.

That's why I wanted him in the off season. He's a professional hitter when he isn't hurt and swings and misses are rare for him. You may not be watching a Mike Trout but you are watching a true talent with the bat.

That's one of the reasons I keep calling for an early extension.

Our MVP finally gets on base. This is all going swimmingly.

Can't keep Jimmy Baseball off the bases!

Nice quick bat from James.

Will McCann be an All Star this year? Can’t believe it’s almost June and I’m seriously asking that

It’s rare you get a glimpse into Jose’s personality, that was a nice little cut

WTF was that shit?

Turns out I was right all along about Giolito. Many people doubted me when I constantly defended him. Feels good.

Yeah defense and pitch sequencing outweigh offense at that position in the post-steroid era. You're not going to have Mike Piazza types hanging around all that much. Those guys are rare.

Can‘t have a game without an ill-advised bunt attempt
