Are we still gonna see posts like this next year?

Oh look, it only took two bad games in a row for OneDog to start dreaming about further years of tanking.

There are relievers who look like toast one year and then look better the next year. Holland got off to an awful start with St. louis last year and has turned around to be the reliever we should have

I'm not a MLBer obviously but if someone called in off waivers was batting cleanup after batting 220 in AAA I'd kinda question WTF my manager was doing.

Good for us...left a runner stranded.  Very exciting.?

Wonder why Ross is a nibbler.

Climbing ratings and attendance.....way to pump the breaks on that very quickly, White Sox.

With all the struggles of this pitching staff, Coop still having a job reminds of the cockroach in the Pixar Movie Wall-E.

Half the Sox 25 man roster is AAAA filler. Going to be hard to replace half the roster in one offseason.

No reason to torture yourself.  After the first inning, I fired up the Weber grill and started cracking some New England IPAs.  Now I don’t give a shit about how awful the Sox are playing.  ?

Totally I'm about to get on ferry to the peninsula doing some car camping and kayaking out there.  This team isn't that good to plan around.

Collins with a lead off single.  Here come the Sox...

Is there any reason to keep Covey around? He was a first round draft pick nine years ago. Has never done anything. I don't see any possible upside. Isn't he just another guy who should be released after the game?

Why is this a day game? I'm assuming Oakland has a crowd of under 10,000 today. Correct? Thanks in advance. I got things to do and am outta here.

I don't know how much longer I can watch Zack Collins try to hit.

That was Cordell.

I think there just aren't anymore bodies to take the ball every 5th day.  Sadly.

Nova and Lopez with their entire season of struggles so far wouldn't be pitching at the ML level on most teams.

So what position player gets to pitch today?

Reed was a star pitcher at the University of Kentucky

I have a feeling he gets sent down tomorrow

Another Collins strikeout. Is the plan to send him back down once Wellington is healthy?

and he wears #24.

Sheets leading the Southern League with 63 rbi's.  Why isn't he here instead of Reed?

Sorry...I knew that.  A little brain dead I guess.

I can't give Collins a fair assessment when he gets ABs only once per week.

By default he's a high K guy, not facing pitching frequently I'm pretty sure worsens the odds of making contact.

He probably will. He just needs another 500 or so at bats in AAA.

I don't think you can justify keeping him here. He's completely out of his league with the bat in his hand.

Out of curiosity, have you ever actually seen the minor leaguers that you praise so much?

Bassitt doing a good job jamming Moncada inside twice now after two strikes.
