Honestly I'd like him to scrap the slider and work on getting the feel for his curveball back the rest of the season. He needs both.

Disagree about the slider but I do agree he really needs to get that curveball back. I counted twice he had guys frozen on that pitch but couldn't get it over. I believe both wind up getting on a pitch or two later.

  • The workaround is to stop subjecting yourself to our starting lineups. Ryan Goins is hitting fifth.

7 hits, 2 walks, 4 homers, for 7 earned runs in 5 innings?  That's just bad.

Going from a 2.22 ERA seven starts ago (June 19th) to mid 3’s is more than just a couple of bad starts.

Yeah. Three, technically that is more than a couple. So I guess you are right.

Can we end this Jon Jay nonsense...I'm so done with that guy!!!

At this point, I honestly think Hahn is having Ricky play him just to deal him at the deadline for a flier single A guy.

Yep he is tailing off each start

Did anyone mention that balls are in play off the netting. No more ground rule doubles down the line which could result in some new game situations.

You’d be missing out on his amazing arm in LF. Between him and Eloy, you might combine to throw as hard as Cease.

LMAO. He wasn't going to catch it but that Jay attempt was terrible.

Ball (and Twins) is so juiced

Wow Sano thought that was a routine flyball. Ball is carrying tonight.

Minnesota rolling Sox this year

Really?

Get Jay the hell off this roster.

Another blowout against the Twins.  Very familiar.

Watching Buxton really makes me want Robert here even more.

They had Jimenez or Jay’s arm at 70 mph.

I would guess 1/4th or 1/3rd of SoxTalk posters threw at least upper 70’s or low 80’s in high school or university...

And his amazing range he just showed there

He’s been the best Sox hitter the last two weeks.

If the Sox held Anderson and Eloy out, this team could get into the top 5 for next year's draft.

I like that they had him batting 3rd tonight.

Hahn wishes he could make the cheap pickups the Twins do year after year.  He gets bums like Castillo, Alonso, and Jay.  The Twins acquire Cruz, Cron, and Schoop.

And that’s why the Twins are where they are and the Sox are where they are!

If that’s not the tallest midget award, I don’t know what is.

Is Steve Stone being snarky at all?  Dude picked the absolute worst time to talk crap to the fans, lol.

Back to third worst run differential in the majors.  -103, just passed the Marlins.

That is what Jason said. There are going to be some plays affected with foul balls I would imagine but foul balls would be dead once they hit the net.

Does Benetti have money on the Indians game tonight?
