Tim shows good speed once he gets momentum around the bases - but he never beats out shit to first base, avg speed to first.

Goins doesn't seem like he can be counted on for late game defense. He's flubbed a couple easy ones in the last week.

Anyone know how to find out the Sox record when McCann is the starting catcher vs. when Castillo is? I bet there's a huge difference.

That's at least the second game he's cost us with his errors.  You would expect that these minor league scrubs that are called up due to injuries would at least play decent defense.

When he played with Toronto, he was always known as a glove first guy, but SS and 2B were by far his best positions.
