It cannot be determined if the run would have scored with the first bunt, but with the guy on the mound, good gift out. The Sox scored 5 runs with 8 outs. 25% of the outs were gifts.

You know hitters can't do things just because they have to or want to otherwise how do any teams ever win if everyone does exactly what they have to or need to do. All games would be 30 runs per side if what you say is true.
