LaMahieu 0 for 6 in the first game today. At .323

We should be looking to trade for him this offseason.

Yes, if we want to top out at 80 wins.  That's the nonsense Hahn did from 2014-16:  trading prospects for good/not-great players when the team is still losing 90 games.

But I think it's reasonable that Boston will be pushing him.  And this FO repeatedly falls for the player that the other teams are pushing.

Looks like renterias rotator cuff still bothering him.

And Sox gonna lose the series and tie the season series with KC... yikes

The pitch around with Jimenez is real

He's put up almost 9 bWAR in 4 seasons and is still young enough to where a breakout is possible.  He's lefty and can play RF a position of obvious need.  The comparison would be Adam Eaton if you want to somehow link it to previous Hahn moves.

Sadly i think Sanchez keeps the job through all of next year.  The White Sox more than any other team in sports will stick with a lesser player because the chemistry he brings to the team/clubhouse is unparalleled in sport.

Ricky can't go quick enough but I am sure he will be on the field in the Chevy drive up next spring.

He might keep a job but not the job.

Not very impressive abs by Leury in the clutch today...

Gutsy performance by Leury today

Nice tank loss. Ricky is good at this

He's played himself out of anything other than a super sub role. His 2nd half has been a bummer.

To be fair, I think we all knew he would be exposed if he played too much. He’s a utility player, nothing more/less.  I still predict he’s gone this offseason.

So we lose the season series 9 games to 10 to a putrid Kansas City team.  Yet we win the season series 4-3 against 2 potential World Series teams--Houston and the Yankees.

I guess teams just play down to their level of competition.  Just ask the Astros and Yankees.

Not easy to win with half a lineup.

Let’s go Pirates

Now that you mention it, we did have a weird lineup out there today.  The first 5 batters had a cumulative BA  of .287, with the first 2 guys batting over .300.

The bottom 4 had a cumulative BA of 2.17, with 2 guys batter under .100.

No it isn't.  But that's all they have (plus 1/2 a pitching staff) after year 3 of a rebuild.

Loss clinches losing season, the seventh in a row. It's been a tough decade.

By comparison, The Atlanta Braves won their division in Year 3 of their rebuild and are a lot better this year.

We are about to embark on probably the best decade in Sox history.  ?

Perhaps, but let's see what happens during this off season. I am somewhat optimistic about the future, but I'd like to see the team go over the .500 mark before going too ga-ga.

Jerry knows that at age 83 the future is now.

To tell you the truth, I don't know if being 83 means anything to Jerry Reinsdorf when it comes to the White Sox. I guess we will see in the offseason.

That's the Sox MO.  It's happened before when they are in the post season hunt. Charlotte choked on playing the last place team in their division .  It's an organization thing.

I do believe they still have some talent in their farm system.
