It’s ridiculous Mendick isn’t playing

It is ridiculous, it is not surprising they act in everything they do like they are the smartest decision makers.

Does Ricky really think Castillo is that good?

I feel like I am a great player evaluator, but I was badly wrong about Castillo, he had been a bust.

Analytics says Castillo is bad, but Ricky's gut says otherwise.

Kind of makes you believe they already have their minds made up. Same thing with not calling up Yermin. Seems that they have determined that he is a non-prospect and isn't even worthy of ABs in meaningless September games.

So why call him up then?

Gonna be flipping between this and the Bears game

Because you seem to be making the assumption that our front office is the best evaluator of talent.  They aren’t.

Exhibit A:  Tatis Jr.

Bats have to wake up today after yesterdays sleepwalking.

Also continues to make me think Yolmer is going nowhere

And you seem to be making the assumptiom that I am making that assumption. Literally just asked what the point was of calling him up if they aren't going to play him.

Not sure why you need to be a dick about it

The pocket thing with Eloy. Make it stop.

Cy Sheffield through 3,

The approach is baffling. Taking fastballs for strikes and swinging at every offspeed pitch out of the zone.  It's one of those games that really makes you wonder what the hell the game plan is going into the game.

To be fair, Sheffield is a very good young prospect. I'm not watching the game (Bears have my full attention at the moment).

Did anyone get Rick's story on the Narvaez HR.

Do you mind giving Bears updates in here ?

Yay Castillo up with 2 on and 2 out. Does it count as a reverse jinx if I mention it's a reverse jinx ?

Sure, but it won't be as frequent as my usual posting here.. lol. Tied 3-3, 2Q. (Pineiro just drilled a 40 yarder).

Afraid it’s about to get ugly. Mariners have bases loaded with no outs

Call up who? Mendick? I don't know. Perhaps they are rewarding him for a good minor league season. Perhaps they are trying to give the die-hards something to talk about. In any case their actions speak volumes about how they really feel about him.

I'd ask you the same question ... If they're not going to play him, why did they bother to call him up?

Only a few more times having to watch Nova start as a Sox player, thankfully.

Idk. Seems kinda dumb to me if he's not gonna get any playing time. Its not like they need to fill the roster spot, like they'll have to next year.
