It's pretty simple, you better be able to strike out hitters if you want a chance to succeed in the majors now (for the most part). Pitching to contact is antiquated. Well someones gotta do it, and I sure as hell don't want it to be Covey or Detweiler. Would much rather have Nova. Idk who else is out their that would be good for a long relief role. FWIW, there was an interview with Nova a few days ago and he was very enthusiastic about coming back next year.
