I mean it all comes down to how much money teams have left in the period starting in four weeks, versus what is available in the Jan 2022 period. From what has been said, no one really has money in the Jan 2021 period left, so unless he wants to take a pretty big haircut on his signing bonus in this period, he might have to wait for the next one.
