  • Yeah, if there's not a season until mid-August. We have bigger problems than trying to open at the Field of Dreams.

  • Next to zero chance.

Am I missing something? Why do people think that fans will even be allowed at the game?

?

I hope the Sox are still involved next year. Probably smart to cancel it this year. It doesn’t make a ton of sense to play a game like this if the stadium is empty.

It's a bummer, but that's 2020 in a nutshell.

The White Sox are showing they are the young marquis talent in the league to showcase in the Field of Dreams Game.  Screw ESPN and the playing against the Yankees crap.  I say the winner of this year's World Series win the right to play the White Sox in Iowa in the 2021 game....and if it ends up being an intrasquad game, so be it!! ^_^

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be Thursday, August 12, 2021 vs the Yankees as long as the schedule plays out. The Sox are in Minnesota and the Yankees are in KC the day before.
