Nice thing about colome is you have plenty of time to watch your kids grow up between pitches.

Whoever wins this at-bat wins the trade.

More runners stranded

How do you hurt your clavicle area swinging?

Your clavicle is the only bone attachment for the entire shoulder girdle.

Have to replace Madrigal already in fantasy...had to dump Ian Happ because hate having Cubs on roster.   Sigh.

Btw, Padres' brought up #2 pitching prospect Luis Patino, they're not messing around, with Davies and Lucchesi struggling at the back end of their rotation.

Two bad at bats in a row with runners on.

I rag on Jose for it a lot, but it's pretty crazy how normalized chewing tobacco is in baseball. Imagine if these guys were constantly smoking cigarettes during games.

Sogard has a lot of Brett Lawrie in his face and mannerisms... but by all accounts, Sogard is a wonderful man and great in the clubhouse whereas Lawrie was a loser.

This sounds like a Promise Keepers testimonial/witnessing from Ben Zobrist...

Correct me if I'm wrong but if its broken they should know rather quick, X Rays are always fast, it's the MRI that drag on.

Depends on the size of the fracture.  A small hairline type in one of the small bone in the wrist can only be found with bone scan or MRI.

Garcia put a good swing on that one.   They're #1 starters for a reason...

That was solid contact for Garcia. Mazara’s swing is long, as to be expected.

If Jose preferred Big League Chew, Madrigal might be alright and Kopech would be in the dugout.

Yes I'm well aware.   Didn't think that was he's pitch.

Josh Lindbloom starting against Gio Gonzalez THURS in Chicago.

Two lefties.

Put up amazing numbers, I think it was in Korea a couple of years ago before coming back stateside.

He’s a righty

An Ivan "bubbling" Calderon reference.

I remember when they used to do that and NFL players smoking on the sidelines.

Nice double play

4-6-3!

Nice DP turn for what may be our DP combo for a bit.

That works.

Korea was right.  I'll blame the Brewers' announcers for that one.

That's the Avi Garcia we all know and love, haha.   Sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield.

Magical Mendick?

The 4-6-3 double play with Mendick-Garcia-Abreu.

Just how we dreamed about it during the shutdown.
