My disdain for them goes along that path as well.

Their players are like the “Bad Boys” of the MLB with their antics. Their fans are even worse I feel.

Stuff it. This franchise hasn't made the playoffs in 12 years and hasn't been close in 8. This team is loaded with guys who have never made a post-season.  You celebrate.  You celebrate like this

  • I think it’s fun ✌️

  • I'm with you. Its sports. Enjoy.

As much as I want the Twins to lose, it's satisfying seeing Jake Cave hit another team besides us.

So far the Cubs look like crap tonight and not doing us any favors.

Open a few threads from September 2005. OMG we weren't even going to make the playoffs. LOL

I seem to remember that. We were on a little bit of a slide and than towards the end of the season we caught fire a bit and than in the playoffs the rest is history.

We weren't even trying against Cleveland and ended up sweeping them even when a playoff spot was on the line for them.

You have to wonder if that whole arbitration process got to him in the offseason and he’s just not that motivated to play for the Cubs anymore.

A lot of good players are struggling. It's a weird year.

How are the Cubs in 1st with this pathetic offense?

They play the NL Central 40 times.

NL Central is not good. They will not be going that far in the playoffs.

Just checked in again... I can't believe it's only 2 - 0.

I think that on this ESPN broadcast one of the commentators is Arod. He’s so pretentious you can hear it in his voice on every play.

The Sox control their own destiny...just gotta win a couple more games and the division is theirs.

The Twins last 5 games are home games:  2 with the Tigers and 3 with the Reds - all winnable.

What’s up Twins fan!

If Reds still have playoff hopes they could be a tougher opponent than the Cubs especially with their rotation.

You don't have to be a Twins fan to recognize this. Besides, all the Sox have to do to win their division is win four out of their last seven. That is one over .500. All their games are winnable, too. Hell, they should be able to sweep the Cubs. Just take care of their own business, and they won't have to worry about the Twins. Although I am worried about the Sox offense right now.

  1. TB 36-19 (8)
  2. Sox 34-20
  3. Oak 33-20 (7)
  4. Min 33-22 (4)
  5. NY 31-23 (4)
  6. Hou 27-27
  7. Cle 30-24 (3)
  8. Tor 28-26

Tor at TB; NY at Min

Cle at Sox; Hou at Oak

McCullers no hitter thru 5. Going to be tough for the Sox no matter who they play. Hope they can at least finish off the division. It didn’t matter to me when it was bunched up, now I don’t want to see them get passed at the very end.

This is my sentiment as well.

Cleveland pushed Bieber to Wednesday vs. Giolito. They are starting Quantrill tomorrow.

Liked how Lopez has pitched his last two outings, hope he has another in him tomorrow.

A’s facing the Dodgers. A win moves them up to 2. But hopefully we don’t fall to the 7 seed in the next five days...we better not.

Tigers have taken the lead 3-2 against the Twins, top of the 8th.
