That slider is not good today

It hasn't been good all year. it has turned into more of a loopy curveball than the sharp breaker he had last year.

Can’t be walking or hitting lefties with a pitch.  He’s just such a different pitcher this year.

He's only a draft pick that skipped the minors you looking for prime eckersley?

Whew, good luck finally for Crochet

Crochet is lucky he didn't give up 3 runs that inning. Looks like he's got a cut on his hand.

Fun fact, if this margin holds, the White Sox will have the biggest run differential in the AL.

That fucking works for me!

Crochet bleeding from his thumb. Me thinks he won't be use for a little while till that heals.

His finger is bleeding badly and he gutted out a huge inning stop the hating good god. Job well done young man.

I still hate this decision by the Sox. If he's an effective reliever, will they really send him down to the minors to hone his secondary pitches and stretch out his arm?

You don’t think he looks like an entirely different pitcher this year.  To be honest, he looks more like what I expected when the Sox picked him.

I'm still baffled by their plan for Crochet. Do they really believe he will be a SP in the future? When will he be able to work on a 3rd pitch?

I’m not optimistic it happens with his general lack of experience and the way they are using him.

They're going the Sale route. Unfortunately, Sale had 2 really good pitches besides his fastball. Crochet is only dominant if he throws 100+. His off-speed stuff isn't good enough if he only throws 96-97.

Sox offense should be crushing these guys coming outta the Texas pen.

He looks like a guy 18 months removed from keggars and coeds.  He's been awesome overall and form comes and goes with young pitchers.  I'm thrilled the Sox appear to have nailed yet another draft pick.

Need to get a run here to get it out of slam territory. That's where Ruiz shines.

Lol...I was thinking the same thing.

Man, this ump has been giving that way off the outside plate strike 3 all day.  Embarrassing.

I swear Moncada gets screwed on more balls than anyone I've ever seen.

Ump wants to go home. Unfortunately our pitchers aren't getting some those calls on the corners.

My god imagine Jim on the bar stool next to you and imagine listening to him for more than 5 minutes without getting up and moving.

lmao I guess he was playing around with his lips between innings.

The bats definitely went to bed after the 4th inning.

At this pace of 9 innings pitched over 21 games that is about 69.1 IP for the year.  At that rate I am not sure you can ever start him.  Maybe next year.  Maybe the plan is like 60-70 IP regular season and up to 10 IP playoffs.

I'd rather see Foster than Ruiz, but ?
