I'm assuming you meant going for 3rd (to get the trail runner into 2nd and scoring position)...in the GT?

Maybe it would have been better to have 1st and 3rd with two outs, would have forced them to walk Moncada with a runner on 1st already, which would really have rankled Abreu (more so than what happened).

Do you have any evidence to show that other teams are lining up to bid for the services of Rick Hahn?

When owners interview for an high level VP/Pres position, it is usually done privately and confidentially. Furthermore you don't need any evidence if teams are lined up, as Rick Hahn has done a hugely successful rebuild thus far. Any MLB team in need of a top notch executive would probably put Hahn on their interview list. His credentials and track record speak for themselves and are as strong as any current GM/VP in baseball. It would be a huge loss if Rick Hahn left. However knowing how clueless, ignorant and pompous  Jerry is; it shouldn't shock anyone if Hahn left due to Jerry's stupidity.

Thank you. The original poster said tons of teams. This is an example of one team.

Again as I said in my reply to you, teams looking to hire an baseball executive don't do it in front of the fans and media. If you don't think Hahn would be coveted by tons of teams then you are really clueless in how hard it is to find and keep a great GM/VP/PRES.

When The LA Dodgers stole away Andrew Friedman from Tampa Bay a six years ago, to go from TB GM to Pres of Dodgers baseball operations, the Tampa fans and media were shocked and had no clue until it was announced.
