So looking into the NL East standings and analyzing all the injury issues, I really don’t think Marlins are going to be sellers. They’re getting healthier while rest of division is falling apart.

Well that’s unfortunate, cross Marte off the list then.

Lynn has been great so far this season. He is just the ultimate workhorse out there. Gives you innings and always keeps you in the game.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Larussa hate is getting out of control. Bunch of fake news being peddled that Hahn wasn't onboard with the Eaton signing and larussa hiring.

Engel is going to be a platoon only for a while it sounds like

The dream is Peralta from the crappy Dbacks…highly doubt it would happen and don’t even know what we’d offer, but 1 can hope

You know the minors as good as anyone. Who would that even be?

I'm not averse to seeing what Rutherford or Sheets could do. It's not like the bar is set extremely high right now. And I'm more so speaking for an Eaton replacement if he actually needs to get healthy.

They would get another NL guy that can't hit AL pitching.  I guess you can't get enough of those.

Santander is the bat I would want if he became available

Yermin had a RIPPPPPPPP

Look at them Yermin chains. I bet Tony loves those.

Indians take the lead over DET 4-3 on a wild pitch.  Had Ramirez down 0-2 and couldn't finish him.

Third pitch to Grandal was on the corner.

I'm of the same opinion. I would think the whole Yermin success story would make the front office a little less reluctant in giving another guy a shot. What's really to lose at this point? Hell, let Eaton heal up on the IL if he truly needs it.

I think when Engel comes back maybe you can roll the dice on one of those guys.  I’d probably go with Sheets first, but both guys have great splits right now against RHP and both are on the 40 man roster.  Give Eaton a couple weeks off and hope he can back a better player.

I’ll take Nick Markakis out of retirement over Spank

I read this as Nick Swisher and almost had a heart attack

I still love Grandal walks.

Ugh...Going to Jesse Rogers for commentary on ESPN.

Did you read the Engel article today?  Wasn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for him being able to play every game when he returns. They even mentioned he could have pain for a while.

These Grandal walks are definitely more valuable with Vaughn behind him.

Great AB!

Kim is kind of annoying ......

The ump just isn't giving Kim the outside corner to righties.

Elevate it here Vaughn

hey, a guy that i don't hate at the plate in this situation

I guess pitchers fear his .140 avg.

...and now he gives him one.

He has a .230 ISO, so he's still hitting for power when he hits it.

If the Brewers just had one more starter to go with Woodruff and Burnes, they would be really tough to beat.

How many runs can the Sox leave out there in scoring position?
