Reasons for optimism today: Skubal is really bad against RH hitters (.363 wOBA, 6.50 FIP, 5.24 xFIP) The Sox are the best team in baseball against LHP (.361 wOBA, 134 wRC+) The T

Idiotic. This is what happens when you have a manger from the 90’s that has pickled his brain in alcohol

What the hell is Moncada doing?

He would have been out by a mile regardless.

What the H, Moncada??

That was...ugly.....

I hope the Sox lose to spite Tony

I thought Yoan looked odd going into 2B on that first 3-2 count....then same thing next pitch.  Very odd

jose 3 for his last 20... been off...

Heuer? WTF?

that was more on grandal - the ball looked like a strike most of the way.

How about a 5-1 record for Codi The Vulture?...let's do this

it's just dumb running there down 1 with Grandal at the plate.

Grandal usually has a 3-0 approach on 3-2. If it's not where he wants it's he's probably not swinging.

Yeah, that is on Yas. He left Yoan hung out to dry on a pitch down the cock, he didn't even bother to swing.

That’s what Grandal does, he never leaves what he thinks the zone is. That’s what makes him a horrific guy to hit and run with. But Tony gonna Tony.

yeah but on a hit and run cant really do that...

We deserve to lose with how poorly this game has been managed.

Yeah it's on Yaz. Either he missed the sign or he just didn't care.

I'm gonna go ahead and blame the low IQ play on those unis by the way

True odds are he’s going to walk, K or hit a home run. Pointless in each case

Grandal is the last person that should be at the plate for hit and run. Makes no sense whatsoever. That’s on TLR

Wasn't someone complaining the previous inning about how we never hit and run, and then they do it (failed miserably, but they did it) and then people are screaming about how he shouldn't hit and run?

I can't blame Yas if that's the case, wouldn't want anything to do with a cock

Go Tigers. Tony needs to be taught a lesson.

Yaz is gonna strike out 30% of the time, walk 30% of the time, and ground out 20% of the time. I guess TLR thought 50% > 30% in that situation.

I don't mind the hit and run, but the guy doing the 'hit' part has to actually....protect the runner.
