He's just not that good.  Sox are very weak at the corners.  Weak roster.

Hopefully it didn’t hit anyone on the concourse. Shitty move

Yaz is the only one doing something in the lineup right now.

I fucking love that bat drop

Grandal is the best thing the Sox have going right now.

Grandal bomb!!!  Goodness

Beautiful in person

Grandal up to .177. Maybe he can get close to .200 by the ASB. We really need it.

Christ Yaz killed that ball.

What the hell was the catcher doing mid-pitch?

Thought it had a chance for the concourse

Grandal needs to be in the lineup everyday…or nearly everyday.

Stone eating crow regarding his criticism of Yasmani? Wow, he never admits he was wrong. I'm surprised.

A .177 hitter is currently their best hitter.

Damn Steve Stone referencing wRC+ and saying it really matters. Jason has changed him.

Stone being able & willing to adapt with the times is part of why he's the best analyst in the game.

438!

Interestingly, both homers by catchers in DH roles.

I'll own it! Being the heel is what keeps life on edge.

 Touche!

7th homer of year on the cutter, like the Giolito and especially Rodon changeups that bring similar results.  With Kikuchi, it’s the lack of speed differential on his secondary stuff that gets him in trouble.

Beautiful slider.  He Gone.

Btw, we need a better farm system.

Except for the Astros, 3/4 series facing former catching prospects of the same organization.

Mejia, Hedges and now Torrens (Nola trade).

Exactly... i’m amazed at how prognosticators seem to rarely consider organizational depth when trying to predict how good a team is going to be. Granted we’ve had a lot of catastrophic injuries but there is nobody in the system that we can rely on to offer even replacement value

Fuuuuuck

Jesus Christ...
